Baby boomers who focus on their God-given purpose live longer than those who do not. This is not surprising. Everyone has seen someone in depression Slide and isolation because their purpose in life – what gives life meaning – suddenly vanishes for some reason whatever. This should not happen to the generation baby boomers when they retire!
People define their purpose in terms of your career life, especially if they understand it as a kind vocation. Many others to define their sense of purpose in terms of their family – a solid marriage and raise healthy and happy. Despite all the humor that surrounds to the idea of a midlife crisis, many people do not know a crisis in midlife. And the reason for the crisis is often no longer necessary to focus on the same things. If the person who dedicated his life to a race and woke up suddenly to the idea that there must be more to life or career is not any real sense of fulfillment in life, or is the person who recognizes suddenly a huge void in life, because children grow up and gone, and marriage is different, change lives and our sense of purpose and meaning changes.
Although I firmly believe that baby boomers have focused their careers around their sense of purpose than their parents, Retirement is a major life change. Those who have followed his career goal suddenly need to find new ways to meet your objective. Those whose careers not related to their sense of purpose need to raise the goal of life and continue to find meaning and fulfillment in their lives.
Al discover and awaken your goal in life is finding new meaning in everything you do. You may want to reflect on different aspects of your life – marriage, family, friends, fun, finance, or at work – as points in a circle. The center of the circle should be your goal in life. When the target is the center of his life and the center of attention, the goal achieved in all other aspects of life like the spokes of a wheel. When everything is connected in this way, life continues soft and feels safer more secure and more stable. centrism in life brings peace of mind and the fulfillment and satisfaction. It brings happiness.
When you wake up and live their inherent purpose to life, is focused and concentrated and are able to do less and accomplish more. Focus your can focus your energy and time what is most important in your life. Understand and live your purpose in life also defines its values and actions. But it is easier to make decisions about what you will or not do.
Thus, baby boomers, if you wake up its end of life to live longer and live better in the second phase of life. Discover your God has given her life purpose and discover inner peace, direction and passion.
