In the past, after the Second World War a new generation born in the United States. Due to the aftermath of World War II the United States experienced an economic boom, which led to jobs with higher incomes, and unemployment was nonexistent.
Education is also reinforced by the government and universities and colleges have encouraged people to get a college degree. Education was cheap and easily available. In fact, many have attended college to open opportunities better paid employment
Because of this lifestyle, many people became financially strong and encouraged to produce more children. After World War II and before the start of the war in Vietnam, there was a significant increase in the birth rate. This generation has been called "baby boomers" old. People who were born during this period are called baby boomers.
First, the baby boomers grew up in a world where unemployment is almost the non-existent and their parents had jobs with higher incomes. Always if you were white, everyone had a job.
Baby boomers also came of age at the time of the civil rights demonstrations on the street. In fact, most people who have protested for civil rights and equality are the baby boomers. They fought against race, creed, sex and age discrimination. Because the world they grew up, baby boomers are regarded as politically active and watch every move made by government.
Another reason why baby boomers are so politically active as they grew up during the Cold War, when socialists government and the communists were the enemy. U.S. Army also the most powerful army in the world during these periods. They lived an arms race against Communist Russia and have been reared by their parents' knowledge that the U.S. is the most powerful country in the world.
Culturally speaking, baby boomers also introduced a new type of music called rock & roll. They made and accepted the different genres of music that has been popping up during this era as jazz, rhythm & blues and rock & roll. In fact, most of the music we hear today is influenced by the music of "Baby Boomers" introduced.
In every generation there is a separate provision is to see. In the baby boom generation, we see that they are not really retire and continue working. They are more focused on their careers and are very active politically. In fact, the U.S. government is now in charge of a baby boom. Former President Bill Clinton and President incumbent, George W. Bush is the "baby boomers" first occupied the highest office in the United States.
Baby boomers want to follow his passion, give something back to society, and I always try very hard to achieve their full potential. You can also see that the baby boomers already in the retirement age is still to work today. Because they want to be active in the work they do and happy retirement is not one of them.
The baby boomers are also more aware health of their parents. For this reason, it is always going to the doctor and know the value of their health. In fact, studies suggest that baby boomers are living longer than their predecessors.

• Worker
• Volunteers

They also expect respect in the workplace, but rarely because of age discrimination. It is ironic that these people are victims of discrimination in the workplace where they were one of those who fought for equality in employment and civil rights.
As you can see, the above rules, where when people reach a certain age can retire now, are very different from "time with the baby boomers. They are free and take advantage of this freedom to do what they want and they do contribute to society or do something you love. They are a generation that is in his career and a generation expects to be respected.
